CFD Student Mentoring

Mentoring engineering students at Fairfield University MCS instructed on the use and correct application of CAE technology. The images shown below represent the Human Powered Vehicle developed this year by a group of four students. The vehicle competed within the ASME Human Powered Vehicle competition held within Rolla Missouri. The next group of seniors will study the performance of this vehicle and either modify the vehicle to improve its aerodynamics or create a totally new vehicle using the information gained from the previous design.
